Fun, right!?!

I am really excited that these two groups of artwork were selected by the amazing team over at Post-it®. These collections represent both sides of my art brain: One side loves the details of vintage things and the bright, bold colors of Indian textiles; The other side craves clean, modern design and loves Scandinavian influences. I find these themes repeated in surprising ways throughout my portfolio. I’m thrilled that the Post-it® team saw something they liked in both of these aesthetics.

The group of art the Post-it® team pulled together follows this trend of varied aesthetics, and they have put together a line of products with contributions from a huge array of talented artists: Sorry You’re Happy, Iza Pearl, Yinfan Huang, Khristian A. Howell, Sisters Gulassa–so many great designers, I can’t list all of them, so check out the new Post-it® Signature Series website and see what I mean!!!

These wine totes use many different pattern combinations from my first two fabric collections, Spring Promise and Animal Parade. From left to right:

1. Body: Ava in turquoise  Handles: Chainlink in green  Liner (not shown): Spring Floral in turquoise.

I love this tote pattern. It is by Atkinson Designs and I found it at Island Quilter, a wonderful quilt shop on Vashon Island, WA.

The pattern comes with a lunch tote option, so I bought insulated liner so I can make that as well. Each version of the pattern has different pockets. The wine tote has exterior pockets on the side, and is divided inside so that your two wine bottles don’t clank together too much. So cute!!!

* Not everyone finds their calendars to be “fun.” But, I can attest to the fact that I once spent the better part of an evening bantering with my friend Sara of Greater Goods Studio about how much WE LOVE OUR DATE BOOKS. Seriously. We love ‘em.

Shown below are dog beds, harnesses and blankets from the Seaside Trails collection. The yellow and turquoise Buds patterns are from my Spring Promise fabric line.
